John Baczewski, CAP, is president and founder of Real Estate Fiduciary Services, LLC (REFS), which provides independent and co-fiduciary services to institutional and individual investors. Mr. Baczewski has more than 20 years of experience in institutional real estate investment, finance, management and monitoring, along with 10 years of Big Four public accounting experience. Past positions have included: CFO of Pyramid Hotel Group; senior manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Pension Real Estate Consulting Group; and managing director of business development for AMRESCO Advisors, and a series of real estate consulting and portfolio management positions with the Frank Russell Company, Russell Fiduciary Services Company and AEW Capital Management.

Jay Rollins is president and co-founder of JCR Capital, specializing in providing structured debt and equity capital for value added and opportunistic commercial real estate transactions. Prior to forming JCR, Mr. Rollins was a managing director of GMACCM’s Structured Products Group, where he managed a $500 million balance sheet focused on originating bridge loans, mezzanine loans, and participating debt. Prior to GMACCM, Mr. Rollins was the president and founder of Eastern Realty Corporation, where he orchestrated the purchase and repositioning of over $400 million of distressed land and commercial assets from the RTC and other distressed financial institutions. Mr. Rollins is a frequent speaker and guest lecture on real estate finance and has written numerous articles that have been published in National Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Forum, the Denver Business Journal, and Colorado Real Estate Journal.
