Portfolios
As a portfolio management solution, Request includes an innovative tool for the custom definition of asset portfolios. Users are able to create portfolios to drive both report and dashboard content or to limit the properties available to a group of users. Based on an individual client's grouping categories (i.e.: property type, market, city, asset manager) a user has the ability to define portfolios on an individual or global basis.
Security
The Request application supports both static user accounts and Microsoft Active Directory integrated authentication. Static user accounts are ideal for users that are external to a company's network. However they do not inherit a corporate security policy and require manual maintenance. Active directory integration occurs at the group or user level. Any active directory group or user can be synchronized with Request.
Request is installed with service that synchronizes with Active Directory on a period basis. This synchronization will add or remove users based on group association. Synchronization can also be triggered to occur on an ad-hoc basis.
