Management Team

Eric Forman, President and CEO

As founder and CEO of Resolve Technology, Eric is responsible for the firm's overall direction. With over 20 years experience in the commercial real estate industry, Eric is a noted expert on best practices in commercial real estate portfolio management, including analysis, modeling, technology, and process. Since the firm's founding in 1990, Resolve has earned a reputation in the real estate industry for its ability to design software platforms that empower real estate investors. For the past 17 years, Eric and his team have provided expert software and services to more than 200 clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Mexico. Eric participates directly in product research and development and has managed Resolve's leading technology through a variety of industry sea changes. Prior to launching Resolve, Eric worked in acquisitions and finance at the Krupp Realty Company, Prudential Securities Real Estate Investment Group and Guaranty Acceptance Credit Corporation. He holds an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management and a BA from the University of Rochester.


Eric maintains a blog, "Imminent Domain", focused on the issues surrounding software and improving processes in the real estate investment industry.

David Rubinstein, Chief Operating Officer

David is responsible for all operational, financial, and administrative functions for the firm. He brings over 25 years of experience in high-tech services and software, driving successful growth and returns. Prior to joining Resolve in the summer of 2006, David was Chief Operating Officer for Invoke Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for turnaround and re-engineering Invoke's hosted software service for direct and channel customers. Previously he was Senior Vice President, Global Service Operations for Parametric Technology Corporation where he led the transformation of PTC's global services team supporting over 700 employees, more than 500 clients, and $200 million in revenues. David holds a BS in Management with Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is married with two children.


Steve Fischer, Vice President, Business Development and Sales


Steve is responsible for Resolve’s sales and account management. He has over 25 years of sales, business development, and management experience with private and public technology and software companies. Steve was most recently VP of Global Sales for FlashTalk, a provider of web-based conferencing, collaboration, and marketing tools. Prior to FlashTalk, he was a co-founder and EVP of Sales and Marketing for Shiva (acquired by Eicon). Prior to that, Steve was Vice President of Business Development for Intranets.com. Steve also held senior management positions with Zabacom, Hayes Microcomputer, Access Beyond (acquired by Hayes), Penril Datability (acquired by Bay Networks), Datability (acquired by Penril), Xylogics, and Arrow Electronics. Steve holds a BS in computer engineering from Boston University.

Joel Blain, Director of Product Management, Portfolio Maximizer

Joel Blain has been appointed Director of Product Management for Portfolio Maximizer, responsible for the overall direction of the product. Joel has over 9 years of experience in web and windows-based software engineering and management, and has played an instrumental role in the development of Portfolio Maximizer since its inception. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colby College in Waterville, ME.

Jeff Blasbalg, Director of Product Management, Request

Jeff oversees the overall direction of the Request business intelligence solution, developing new features, enhancements and tools that provide increased value to clients. Jeff has over 9 years of experience in commercial real estate with expertise in forecasting and analytics, business process, and Microsoft technology. His knowledge of best practices in the industry comes directly from diverse experience with existing Request clients. Jeff has been directly involved in the creation and evolution of the Request product and has served as Implementation Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Engineer on a number of Request implementations. Jeff holds a BS degree from the Wharton School of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Finance and Real Estate.

David Gagnon, Director of Financial Services


David is responsible for overseeing financial and consulting services. David has more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry including consulting, commercial appraising and brokerage experience. Previously with Resolve from 1998 to 2003, David was responsible for managing the consulting side of the business and servicing clients with his expertise in the use of DYNA and Argus, experience with asset management functions and his broad based real estate experience involving leasing and sales. David brings a breadth of knowledge rarely found in the industry with past experience in architecture and construction management, providing an array of understanding in the real estate industry from a unique perspective. David spent the time from 2003 to 2007 expanding his experience in the commercial appraising realm as a fee appraiser, working on various appraisal and due diligence assignments. David is a Certified General Appraiser and is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. He is also a licensed real estate broker and holds a BS in construction management from Florida International University, Miami, Florida.

Lisa Nash, Director of Professional Services


Lisa is responsible for all professional services delivered to real estate organizations during the implementation and ongoing use of Resolve’s solutions. She has over twenty years of experience in the software industry, serving in a variety of roles including software engineer, technical support, training, and project management for prominent software companies, including Interleaf, Powersoft, Firefly and Vignette. For the past ten years, Lisa has filled contributing and leadership positions in numerous consulting and professional services engagements, including many with large financial services organizations. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Psychology from UMASS/Boston.

Joshua Teeter, Director of Product Engineering

Joshua has overall responsibility for Resolve’s product development and solution architecture. Joshua brings to Resolve more than 16 years of technology leadership in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Resolve, Joshua served as the Chief Information Officer at Evare, a financial services networking and outsourced middleware provider, where he oversaw the creation of a global network handling information delivery on over 1 trillion dollars in balances/holdings daily and 2.5 trillion dollars in transactions monthly. Prior to Evare, Joshua served as a Technology Director and Product Architect at ADP Financial Services, a provider of corporate cash management products to large financial institutions worldwide, where he architected and participated in the implementation of institutional reporting and payment systems used daily by tens of thousands of medium and large businesses.
